Details: This small evergreen tree can reach 4m (12 ft) but is often grown as a potted plant. These are not necessarily common garden plants, but the small fruits that ripen in December are an important part of Japanese cuisine. The juice and rind are used in soups and many other dishes as well as in bathes to add a strong citrus frangrance.
