The park was set up by the Nusantara Flower Foundation to display flowers from all over the world and to educate the public about the beauty and the use of flowering plants in garden design. The place is huge, covering 35 ha and is primarily a collection of flowering plants from around the globe. There are five specialty gardens, including the Rose, Water, American, French, Balinese, Mediterranean, Dutch, Palm, and Japanese. All display not only plants, but also traditional garden designs, from those regions.
This place is kind of a big deal. It is Indonesia's first flower display garden and was officially opened on September 10, 1995 by President Soeharto and his wife Ibu Tien Soeharto.
Located 60 km south of Jakarta.

'You are not me,' replied Chuangtse. 'How can you know that I do not know that the fish are enjoying themselves?'
