Cost includes: accomodations at a Kyoto hotel. First night's stay at Osaka airport hotel. Breakfast and one meal per day at a ryokan or garden restaurant. In country travel by public transport, taxi an dwalking. Admission fees to 20 high quality gardens and other sites. Day trips to Fushimi, Nara, Fukui and Ohara. Daily cultural activities include visits to calligrapher's studio, ikebana and kimono lessons, tea ceremony and visit to Junji Kagata's bamboo warehouse. Lectures. Travel advice and logistical assistance for post-tour travel to Japan.
