Site Manager
The Site Manager is a full time position at the Japanese House and Garden in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Japanese House and Garden is a 17th century Japanese house in the west section of Fairmount Park. This position is an integral part of the museumís day-to-day operations and serves an important role in interacting with the public and as a liaison with other professional staff members. This position is ideal for a person who has earned a college degree, has earned higher academic credentials, or significant life experience. The successful candidate must also have a strong interest in and/or knowledge of Japan, Asian studies, museum studies, education or the hospitality industry.
Must be available to work 5 days per week, Tuesday-Sunday at a varying schedule
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9-5; Saturday and Sunday 10-4
Some evening work for staffing special events will be required.
